5.2 No Warranty for Results
Knitting outcomes depend on many variables including yarn characteristics, needle type, individual tension, and technique. We are not responsible for:
- Inaccurate gauge calculations due to user input errors
- Variations in yarn weights or fiber content
- Differences in individual knitting tension
- Project outcomes that differ from calculations
- Yarn shortages or overages based on our yardage calculator

IN NO EVENT SHALL GAUGEGENIE’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO GAUGEGENIE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its rules. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.

YOU AND GAUGEGENIE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
